Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Winterreis (Winter Journey) by Raoul de Keyser. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 100,000.00 (€ 111,041.47). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raoul de Keyser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kalklijn (Chalk Line), which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 237,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winterreis (Winter Journey) von Raoul de Keyser zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 100.000,00 (€ 111.041,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Raoul de Keyser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kalklijn (Chalk Line) beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 237.500,00 versteigert wurde.
