It achieved a price of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,000.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rammellzee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Coming of Zee, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 252,000.00 (€ 218,144.04).

Die Arbeit Antares von Rammellzee wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.000,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rammellzee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Coming of Zee beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 252.000,00 (€ 218.144,04) versteigert wurde.
