Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Mettroppostterrsizzer by Rammellzee. It changed hands for a price of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,744.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rammellzee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Coming of Zee in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 218,144.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mettroppostterrsizzer von Rammellzee zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 52.744,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rammellzee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Coming of Zee im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 218.144,04).
