The work Ikonoklast Panzerism by Rammellzee was sold in the Art Contemporain Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Paris in June last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 37,800.00 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Rammellzee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Coming of Zee in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 218,144.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ikonoklast Panzerism von Rammellzee wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Auction bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 37.800,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rammellzee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Coming of Zee im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 218.144,04).
