Auction result well in line with expectations
The work ‘One Day, My Son, All This Will Be Yours!’ by Ralph Steadman was sold in the The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer auction at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,992.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ralph Steadman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hunger, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,981.18).

Die Arbeit ‘One Day, My Son, All This Will Be Yours!’ von Ralph Steadman wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.992,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
