Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Barclays Bank Logo by Ralph Steadman was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,423.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ralph Steadman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hunger, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,981.18).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.423,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
