The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,707.83), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ralph Steadman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hunger, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,981.18).
