In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work Hunger by Ralph Steadman. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,981.18), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, Hunger is even the most expensive work of art by Ralph Steadman that we have observed at auctions so far.
