Die Arbeit 'The Big Squirrel and The Little Rhinoceros' von Ralph Steadman kam im Februar 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 812,50 (€ 957,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ralph Steadman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hunger im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.981,18).
