Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,089.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ralph Eugene Meatyard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, (Flag - derelict interior with Christopher), 1960, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 33,600.00 (€ 24,597.36).
