Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Untitled (Boy) by Rafael Coronel. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 17,884.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafael Coronel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peregrinos Iv in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 107,768.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Boy) von Rafael Coronel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 17.884,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafael Coronel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peregrinos Iv im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 107.768,40).
