Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams held the auction Modern Design | Art, which included the work Marido y Mujer by Rafael Coronel. The price achieved of USD 5,120.00 (€ 4,844.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafael Coronel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peregrinos Iv in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 107,768.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern Design | Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marido y Mujer von Rafael Coronel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.120,00 (€ 4.844,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafael Coronel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peregrinos Iv im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 107.768,40).
