This artwork by Rafael Coronel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October this year. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work without title sold for USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,557.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafael Coronel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peregrinos Iv in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 107,768.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rafael Coronel erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 6.930,00 (€ 6.557,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafael Coronel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peregrinos Iv im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 107.768,40).
