Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still Life Of Flowers With A Nosegay Of Roses, Marigolds, Larkspur, A Bumblebee And Other Insects by Rachel Ruysch was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 610,000.00 (€ 546,497.04). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rachel Ruysch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A Sunflower And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase With A Bee, Butterfly And Other Insects Upon A Marble Ledge, which sold at auction in July 2013 for GBP 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,885,983.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers With A Nosegay Of Roses, Marigolds, Larkspur, A Bumblebee And Other Insects von Rachel Ruysch kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 610.000,00 (€ 546.497,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rachel Ruysch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A Sunflower And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase With A Bee, Butterfly And Other Insects Upon A Marble Ledge beobachtet, die im Juli 2013 für GBP 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.885.983,93) versteigert wurde.
