Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Forest Floor with a classical façade beyond by Rachel Ruysch. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 272,750.00 (€ 303,867.69). Admittedly, works by Rachel Ruysch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A Sunflower And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase With A Bee, Butterfly And Other Insects Upon A Marble Ledge in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,885,983.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forest Floor with a classical façade beyond von Rachel Ruysch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 272.750,00 (€ 303.867,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rachel Ruysch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A Sunflower And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase With A Bee, Butterfly And Other Insects Upon A Marble Ledge im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.885.983,93).
