Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings, Part I, which included the work Roses, Tulips And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase On A Stone Ledge by Rachel Ruysch. It changed hands for a price of USD 464,000.00 (€ 367,553.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rachel Ruysch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A Sunflower And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase With A Bee, Butterfly And Other Insects Upon A Marble Ledge in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,885,983.93).

Im April 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings, Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roses, Tulips And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase On A Stone Ledge von Rachel Ruysch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 464.000,00 (€ 367.553,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rachel Ruysch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A Sunflower And Other Flowers In A Glass Vase With A Bee, Butterfly And Other Insects Upon A Marble Ledge im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.885.983,93).
