Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Qiu Xiaofei achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale auction, the work Photo Album sold for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,608.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Xiaofei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Desolate Wood in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 400,997.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qiu Xiaofei erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Photo Album für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.608,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Xiaofei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Desolate Wood im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 400.997,07).
