Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Two Broadcasters by Qiu Xiaofei. The price achieved of HKD 2,040,000.00 (€ 246,699.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,800,000.00 – 2,600,000.00. Other works by Qiu Xiaofei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work Desolate Wood was auctioned for HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 400,997.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Broadcasters von Qiu Xiaofei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.040.000,00 (€ 246.699,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.800.000,00 – 2.600.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Qiu Xiaofei konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2014 die Arbeit Desolate Wood für HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 400.997,07) versteigert.
