This artwork by Qian Weicheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in April 2018. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 165,200.00 (€ 17,431.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Weicheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscapes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 16,840,000.00 (€ 1,947,606.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Weicheng erzielte im April 2018 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 165.200,00 (€ 17.431,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Weicheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscapes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.840.000,00 (€ 1.947.606,24).
