This artwork by Qian Weicheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers Of Four Seasons sold for HKD 9,350,000.00 (€ 1,067,644.18) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 4,800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Qian Weicheng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot River Landscapes sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of HKD 16,840,000.00 (€ 1,947,606.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Weicheng erzielte im Mai 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers Of Four Seasons für HKD 9.350.000,00 (€ 1.067.644,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 4.800.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Qian Weicheng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit River Landscapes im Juni 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 16.840.000,00 (€ 1.947.606,24).
