Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape after the Four Yuan Masters by Qian Weicheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 8,820,000.00 (€ 1,056,948.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000,000.00 – 10,000,000.00. Other works by Qian Weicheng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2015 the work River Landscapes was auctioned for HKD 16,840,000.00 (€ 1,947,606.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape after the Four Yuan Masters von Qian Weicheng wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 8.820.000,00 (€ 1.056.948,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000.000,00 – 10.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Qian Weicheng konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2015 die Arbeit River Landscapes für HKD 16.840.000,00 (€ 1.947.606,24) versteigert.
