Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Qian Weicheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Ink Bamboo sold for HKD 224,200.00 (€ 25,910.95) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Weicheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscapes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 16,840,000.00 (€ 1,947,606.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Weicheng erzielte im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Ink Bamboo für HKD 224.200,00 (€ 25.910,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Weicheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscapes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.840.000,00 (€ 1.947.606,24).
