Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape After Dong Yuan by Qi Zhijia. The price achieved of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,117.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Zhijia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Landscape in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,967.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan von Qi Zhijia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 10.117,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhijia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Landscape im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 177.967,61).
