Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in running script by Qi Zhijia. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,110.24). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Zhijia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Landscape in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,967.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in running script von Qi Zhijia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.110,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhijia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Landscape im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 177.967,61).
