Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Pine Trees in the Mountains by Qi Zhijia. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,127.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Zhijia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Landscape in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,967.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine Trees in the Mountains von Qi Zhijia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.127,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhijia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Landscape im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 177.967,61).
