Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wajah Batu by Pupuk DP was auctioned at Sothebys in Singapore in April 2007. The price achieved of SGD 6,000.00 (€ 2,890.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SGD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pupuk DP have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ekspresi Turki in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wajah Batu von Pupuk DP kam im April 2007 bei Sothebys in Singapur zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SGD 6.000,00 (€ 2.890,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SGD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pupuk DP auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ekspresi Turki im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31).
