Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bright No. 2 by Pu Jie was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,214.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pu Jie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Internet Time No. 9 in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,917.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bright No. 2 von Pu Jie kam im Januar 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.214,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Jie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Internet Time No. 9 im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.917,90).
