Upper estimate price exceeded by 37 %.
In November 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong, which included the work He by Pu Jie. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,106.45), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pu Jie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Internet Time No. 9, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,917.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit He von Pu Jie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.106,45) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pu Jie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Internet Time No. 9 beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.917,90) versteigert wurde.
