It achieved a price of HKD 21,600.00 (€ 2,767.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Admittedly, works by Pu Jie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Internet Time No. 9 in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,917.90).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Pu Jie kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 2.767,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Jie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Internet Time No. 9 im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.917,90).
