The work Two works on paper (i-ii): by Uche Okeke was worth GBP 17,750.00 (€ 21,044.62) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Uche Okeke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna & Child, The Manger (Framed) in March this year with an auction result of GBP 151,500.00 (€ 172,360.51).

Die Arbeit Two works on paper (i-ii): von Uche Okeke war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres GBP 17.750,00 (€ 21.044,62) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Uche Okeke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madonna & Child, The Manger (Framed) im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.500,00 (€ 172.360,51).
