Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work One letter, A book on drawings; and three more books by Uche Okeke was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 832.00 (€ 955.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Uche Okeke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madonna & Child, The Manger (Framed) in March this year with an auction result of GBP 151,500.00 (€ 172,360.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit One letter, A book on drawings; and three more books von Uche Okeke kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 832,00 (€ 955,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Uche Okeke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Madonna & Child, The Manger (Framed) im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.500,00 (€ 172.360,51).
