The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,200.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 3,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro della Vecchia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man Drawing A Sword in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 139,536.66).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.200,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 3.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro della Vecchia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Man Drawing A Sword im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 139.536,66).
