It achieved a price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 53,792.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro della Vecchia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man Drawing A Sword, which sold at auction in February 2013 for USD 182,500.00 (€ 139,536.66).
