Auction result well in line with expectations

In July 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A landscape with a soldier sounding a trumpet and a standard bearer, a military encampment beyond by Pietro della Vecchia. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,552.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro della Vecchia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man Drawing A Sword in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 139,536.66).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Juli 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A landscape with a soldier sounding a trumpet and a standard bearer, a military encampment beyond von Pietro della Vecchia zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.552,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro della Vecchia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Man Drawing A Sword im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 139.536,66).
