Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head Of A Bearded Man, Wearing A Red Cap And Red Shirt by Pietro della Vecchia was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2010. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,599.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro della Vecchia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man Drawing A Sword in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 139,536.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Head Of A Bearded Man, Wearing A Red Cap And Red Shirt von Pietro della Vecchia wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
