This artwork by Piet Ouborg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2007. In the Twentieth Century Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 6,850.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piet Ouborg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 69,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piet Ouborg erzielte im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Twentieth Century Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 6.850,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piet Ouborg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.850,00.
