Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape On Bali by Piet Ouborg was sold in the Twentieth Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piet Ouborg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 69,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape On Bali von Piet Ouborg wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion Twentieth Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piet Ouborg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.850,00.
