Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Geruisloos by Piet Ouborg was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 14,650.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Admittedly, works by Piet Ouborg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 69,850.00.

Die Arbeit Geruisloos von Piet Ouborg kam im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 14.650,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piet Ouborg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.850,00.
