Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Village Charity Scene With Monks Handing Out Bread To The Villagers by Pieter de Bloot was sold in the Paintings Drawings Sculptures 1300-1900 auction at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,375.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Bloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasants making merry outside an inn in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 169,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Village Charity Scene With Monks Handing Out Bread To The Villagers von Pieter de Bloot wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Paintings Drawings Sculptures 1300-1900 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.375,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Bloot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peasants making merry outside an inn im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 169.000,00.
