In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Beggars On A Riverbank With A Village And Bathers Beyond sold for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,776.33) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Bloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasants making merry outside an inn in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 169,000.00.
