In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work A Landscape With Ferries Crossing A River by Pieter de Bloot. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,630.54), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter de Bloot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peasants making merry outside an inn, which sold at auction in November 2012 for EUR 169,000.00.

Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Landscape With Ferries Crossing A River von Pieter de Bloot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.630,54) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Bloot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peasants making merry outside an inn beobachtet, die im November 2012 für EUR 169.000,00 versteigert wurde.
