This artwork by Pieter de Bloot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2020. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work A River Landscape With Figures In Rowing Boats Beside Buildings sold for GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,198.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Bloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasants making merry outside an inn in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 169,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pieter de Bloot erzielte im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit A River Landscape With Figures In Rowing Boats Beside Buildings für GBP 11.970,00 (€ 13.198,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Bloot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peasants making merry outside an inn im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 169.000,00.
