Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pieter de Bloot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2020. In the The Rafael Valls Sale auction, the work Beggars Gathering Outside A Convent sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,065.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Bloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasants making merry outside an inn in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 169,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pieter de Bloot erzielte im April 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Rafael Valls Sale wurde die Arbeit Beggars Gathering Outside A Convent für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.065,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Bloot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peasants making merry outside an inn im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 169.000,00.
