The work A Barn Interior With A Still Life Of Fish On A Plate, A Cabbage, Earthenware And Copper Pots And Pans And Other Kitchen Utensils, Together With A Boar And Three Chickens, A Group Of Peasants In The Background by Pieter de Bloot was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2011. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,252.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter de Bloot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peasants making merry outside an inn in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 169,000.00.
