Admittedly, works by Pieter Coecke van Aelst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A triptych: The Nativity, The Adoration of the Magi, The Presentation in the Temple in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 3,166,000.00 (€ 2,608,982.28).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 589.016,83) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Coecke van Aelst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A triptych: The Nativity, The Adoration of the Magi, The Presentation in the Temple im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.166.000,00 (€ 2.608.982,28).
