Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Un Geste by Pierre Dubreuil for USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,779.53). This price was achieved in the auction The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pierre Dubreuil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'The First Round' in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 225,496.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Un Geste von Pierre Dubreuil für USD 47.500,00 (€ 40.779,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Dubreuil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'The First Round' im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 225.496,52).
