Die Arbeit 'Lyres Modernes' von Pierre Dubreuil kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 26.786,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Dubreuil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'The First Round' im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 225.496,52).
