The work 'Lyres Modernes' by Pierre Dubreuil was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2020. It achieved a price of USD 32,760.00 (€ 26,786.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. Admittedly, works by Pierre Dubreuil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'The First Round' in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 225,496.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Lyres Modernes' von Pierre Dubreuil kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 26.786,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Dubreuil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'The First Round' im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 225.496,52).
