Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern, which included the work Femme assise au jardin by Pierre Bonnard. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,106.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Bonnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 19,570,000.00 (€ 17,553,143.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme assise au jardin von Pierre Bonnard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.106,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Bonnard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.570.000,00 (€ 17.553.143,78).
