Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2011 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Still life with flowers by Pierre Adolphe Valette. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,233.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Adolphe Valette - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hansom Cab, Manchester, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with flowers von Pierre Adolphe Valette zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.233,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Valette mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hansom Cab, Manchester beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.952,83) versteigert wurde.
