This artwork by Pierre Adolphe Valette achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2010. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Presbyterian Church, All Saints, with figures sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,499.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pierre Adolphe Valette; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hansom Cab, Manchester sold at auction in December 2011 with the realized price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Adolphe Valette erzielte im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Presbyterian Church, All Saints, with figures für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.499,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00.
